The recommendations for circulation pumps on the European Market are:
- Minimum requirements for the Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) should be lowered to 0.18 (currently 0.23)
- As circulation pumps have a very long lifespan, there should be subsidy programs developed to enhance early substitution of older, less efficient pumps.
