Selection criteria dishwashers
MethodologyTopten.eu presents the most energy efficient dishwasher models with the best drying efficiency and lowest water consumption of Europe.
Technical criteriaIn order to be presented on topten.eu, dishwasher models must be declared according to the new energy label regulation No 1059/2010 and comply with the following criteria:
Relevant values have to be provided by the producers. Producers who are not able to provide these values cannot claim to have their appliances displayed on topten.eu.
Order of presentationProducts are ranked according to the calculated electricity and water costs. The order of presentation can be changed by clicking the tables’ headings.
Brand, Model and similar modelsBrand and model names. Products of similar construction and identical technical values are displayed only once, the similar models’ names are listed below.

Since 1. December 2011 dishwashers of class B and less efficient are banned – except for small dishwashers (10 place settings, width ≤ 45cm) class B is still permitted till Dec. 2013.
